It was a Wednesday evening. Met Doris at 313 and we walked over to The Heeren together. Clarence and Jonathan were already there and we went in first. We had to pay the $35.07 before we could start eating, Seoul Garden style :) The cashiers were very smiley and patient.
Once we stepped into the restaurant, I was quite amazed at the size of it. And it was a bit dim too, except for the food counters. They only had round tables for max 6 persons. Any larger crowd will have to settle for joined rectangular tables. *shrugs*

Here are the round tables that could sit 6. I would imagine it will be quite cramped for 6. 4 is a better idea.

Raw section

Dessert section (shall elaborate on this particular dessert later :P)

Thanks to Doris who helped take the food sections' pictures!

Quite a tidy layout. I jus felt that the food sections were too bright and the surrounding areas too dim. Looked odd.

See??

Doesn't it look like a spacious food court with many stalls? lol.

grilled section.

Baby chairs section. They have this children's section where there is quite a large space with playmats and some wooden toys. Quite child-friendly :)

their teriyaki meats.
Comments - too oily, but the beef was good! very tender!~

the top flat piece with ham strips is their thin crust pizza. Those of us who tried it, liked it a lot. It was crispy, hot and light enough to go for more!
The cheese-baked scallop (on the left side under the pizza) was not very big, but it was fresh :)

Rosti! Comments - GOOD! Doris loved it and had 2 portions i believe haha. It was crispy and tasty, but a bit oily at the bottom.
And that's another better picture of the pizza :)

Fresh salmon belly - very fatty, smooth, sleek...*drools*
Lightly grilled Tuna - tasted quite fishy. I suspect it was the grilling that brought out the fishy taste.

Japanese style har gau heeehee. But--- not nice. too much skin and too little prawn. come to think of it, it now looks more like prawn chee cheong fan.

Meats on sticks! Thumbs up for the pork belly and pork liver! not very oily, and quite tender! The pork liver was slightly mushy and i loved it. But not Jonathan. Guess everyone has different preferences :)

BIG FAT OYSTERS. I had 2 and they were very fresh and 'slurp-able'. Doris had...countless oysters!

They were obviously not mine haha. Clarence's. hehe. They were... normal.

More sashimi!! Fresh and best --> unlimited!!
Oh, before i forget, Carl commented that the wasabi wasn't fresh. I went 'How did you know?'
He said it wasn't spicy enough, not enough 'kick', hence not fresh. Ahhhh.. something new for me!
The french bean salad was not very up to standard. The french beans were not salty enough and the bland sauce did not do much to help.

Stir-fried veg - normal. I find it too bland. Whats with being stingy with flavouring! :P

Omelette! My comment - FISHY. no idea why, but it tasted fishy. :S

A bit on dessert now!
The sesame cake is wonderful, i like it a lot! It's not too sweet also.
Pandan layer cake - Many of us gave a thumbs up!
Not in picture - Green tea ice cream - creamy and not too sweet. Nice :)

AHHH...this has to be my favorite!! Tofu Cheesecake! It's not the lemony tasting cheesecake. It's pure cheesecake with cheese taste :D I had at least 4 pieces :)

The prawn tempura was quite salty =.= There was also this oyster tempura on a shooter glass. Wiki tried it and puked it out. Not fresh *Eww*

DRINKS - They have a wide variety of drinks. They have at least 2 types of juices, variety of soft drinks, coffee, variety of teas.
From left: Jonathan, Carl, Thien, Wiki, myself and Doris :)
Clarence was the photographer in the earlier picture.

That night, i went with quite a full tummy, hence i wasn't very prepared for a big meal. I got full quickly and that was so sad. I missed gorging on the sashimi and oysters!!
We were there on a weekday night and it was nearly half-filled, much to my surprise. Service was good, but silent. They come silently, clear the dishes silently, and leave silently. I could hardly notice them. :)
Overall, it's a good place to dine at because it has not a bad variety and things are respectably fresh and tasty.
Bottomline - It's like a hotel continental buffet, Japanese style. and it's cheaper than a hotel buffet!
